Why can't i load the stupid level???

Ok, so last night and Bob can tell you right after the first half of the L4D2 demo my game crashed...

Says i have a run time error....

Searched all over internet...can't find a fix...what do I do??

I wanna play the demo all the way through

try running a registry scanner like the one on CC cleaner, and if that doesn't work, maybe reinstall the game... hope I help.

Used CC Cleaner...
Am installing new malware protection and stuff...I'll see what it does tomorrow

I know lol- but i was look around on internet

and my CPU usage is oddly high w/ nothing running...so i just checked everything

CPU usage went down- and ill check if game works when i get home after school

Still can't play it all the way through...ugh

well a new steam update came in for me, it's something about launching L4D2 demo... might solve your problem

I just realize I got the same error message that you had when trying to open audiosurf today, clicked ok for the 3 or 4 windows, and the game ended up working correctly... not sure if this help at all, but it's basically because I noticed it due to the C++ in the "window name"

What 3 or 4 windows are you talking about? :\

simply the error window you got, it just stacked up three or four times, then everything was just fine for some reason (after a little bit of wait, not very long, I'd say 20 seconds top)
it probably won't fix anything, just remembered I came across that error recently

Yeah, that what happens, but then i relaunch the game, and finish the campaign and at the end it crashes with same error again.

ohh fuck mate XD get windows 7.

hurm... so you have all of your drivers updated, clean installation of the game, registry in check... good computer... I have no idea what your problem is.... maybe L4d2 just doesn't like your processor or hard drive or something..

I guess so... maybe the real game will work better cause I'll actually get the disc.


Oh, and i think my uncle is getting me win7 for christmas..lol
