I acquired a WWII helmet and I have painted it, it's kickass you guys (and gals) should check it out

I am also current repainting it making the black flat, and then enlarging the skull putting it front and center, and then changing the white splatter to red.

the camera kinda fucks it up, and you can't really tell, but the skull fades to black.

Kickass indeed, you used a spray can and a .... ''pochoire''(the cut-out shapes thing) or you painted the shape and everything yourself

well, I put tape on the helmet, drew the design, and then cut the design out of the tape.

check out the new helmet in the first message, under edit.

just look like the kind of things I'd like to try making, but I usually am too lazy to make my ideas come true, or knowing I won't meet my expectations and it'll look crappy compared to what I imagined... yours looks great

yea I prefer the newer one a lot better, the camera takes away a lot of it, in person it looks a lot better too =D I love this helmet.

I made my skating helmet look something like this....

It was black w/ red splatters with "DC" written/drawn on it in red also.

...Well when I use to skate XD now...i dont even know where it is lol

the only "project" I "created" to the end was a hand drawn map of the world, with exact amount of islands, colors and everything, couple of capitals names.... that was what? 10 years ago? lost it 9 years ago... so much work for something so futile, just to be lost... that might be a hint to my procrastination tendencies

yea, but the difference between my helmet and yours is...
1. Mines a fucking WWII helmet XD
2. Skating is very dumb
3. my skull was my own design/idea, your DC came from a shoe brand. XD
